Information we collect

• Account and contact information, including your name, email, phone number, city, and time zone.
• Booking and project information, including room details, measurements, preferences, photographs, videos, files, consultation notes, and messages.
• Designer application and professional information when you apply to join the platform.
• Payment and transaction information. Payment-card details are processed by our payment provider; Ask Franni does not intend to store full card numbers.
• Device, browser, usage, cookie, and security information generated when you use the website.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the platform; match customers with designers; schedule and deliver services; process payments, refunds, and designer payouts; communicate about bookings; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain records; comply with law; and, with permission where required, send service or marketing updates.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how people use Ask Franni. It may use cookies or similar technology and collect page views, interactions, approximate location, device and browser details, and other usage data. Google processes this data for us. You can limit cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect some website features. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, room photos, or other form contents to Google Analytics.

How we share information

We may share relevant project and contact information with the designer selected for a booking. We may also share information with hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, payment, and other service providers that support Ask Franni; with professional advisers; or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law. Website form submissions may be processed by an email-delivery provider solely to route them to Ask Franni. We do not sell personal information for money.

Photos, video, and recordings

Room photos and project files are used to provide the requested service. A designer may view them only as needed for the booking. Sessions are not recorded by Ask Franni unless you receive clear notice and provide any legally required consent. Do not upload images containing sensitive personal documents or people who have not agreed to be shown.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing legal@askfranni.com. Some records may be retained where required for transactions, security, disputes, or law. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages while continuing to receive necessary service communications.

Children and changes

Ask Franni is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date here. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or email.
