Service Terms

1. The service

Ask Franni connects customers with independent interior designers for virtual guidance. The 30-Minute Focused Consultation addresses one or two specific design decisions in one room or defined zone and includes a brief written recap. The 60-Minute Single-Room Design Direction service provides broader guidance and a written recap for one clearly defined room or zone up to 500 square feet. In an open-concept or larger space, the customer and designer must select one defined zone to address. The scope, price, timing, and included deliverables shown at checkout form part of your purchase.

These focused advisory services do not include measured floor plans, construction drawings, renderings, mood boards, comprehensive product sourcing, procurement, installation management, or a complete redesign of every element in the room unless an additional service expressly says otherwise.

2. Advisory nature of guidance

Designers provide opinions and recommendations based on the information you supply and what can reasonably be observed remotely. Ask Franni does not provide architecture, engineering, structural, electrical, plumbing, construction, inspection, code-compliance, legal, or other licensed professional services. You are responsible for verifying measurements, product specifications, installation requirements, permits, building codes, safety conditions, and contractor qualifications before acting.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, photographs, dimensions, access details, and project needs; attend appointments on time; maintain a safe and respectful environment; and use the service only for lawful personal or business purposes. Do not submit content you do not have permission to share.

4. Designers and third parties

Designers using Ask Franni are independent contractors and not employees of Ask Franni. Product links, prices, stock, colors, dimensions, shipping, warranties, contractors, and other third-party matters are controlled by the applicable third party and can change. Ask Franni is not the seller or installer of independently purchased goods or services.

5. Payment

Charges are disclosed before purchase and processed through a third-party payment provider. You authorize the stated charge and are responsible for applicable taxes or fees shown at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.

6. Content and limited use

You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit. You grant Ask Franni and the assigned designer a limited permission to access, use, copy, and adapt that content only as reasonably needed to deliver, support, secure, and document the purchased service. Designer-created recommendations and materials are for your personal use for the identified project and may not be resold or commercially distributed without written permission.

7. No guaranteed outcome

Design is subjective. We do not guarantee that recommendations will match every preference, increase property value, remain available for purchase, fit after inaccurate measurements, or produce a particular result. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Acceptable use and suspension

We may limit or suspend access for fraud, harassment, threats, misuse of customer or designer information, unlawful activity, chargeback abuse, interference with the platform, or a material violation of these terms.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ask Franni is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from third-party products, contractors, installation, inaccurate customer information, or acting without required professional review. Ask Franni's aggregate liability relating to a purchased service will not exceed the amount paid to Ask Franni for that service, except where the law does not permit that limitation.

10. Disputes and Louisiana law

Please contact legal@askfranni.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by Louisiana law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Louisiana unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future use of the service. The version posted when you purchase generally governs that purchase. Questions may be sent to legal@askfranni.com.
